EMPLOYEES of the city government of Cagayan de Oro will be receiving additional pay hike after the City Council approved on May 22 the second tranche of the Salary Standardization Law (SSL) that will be implemented retroactive January 2017, a report reaching the DayBreak said.
According to The Power, the City Council approved during its regular session Supplemental Budgets No. 1 of the Special Account: Local Economic Enterprises, and Supplemental Budget No. 2 of the General Fund for the purpose. The Power is a daiy newsletter of the City Council.
Mayor Oscar Moreno recommended the approval of the budget, which will be used solely for the implementation of the Second Tranche Compensation Adjustment for all salaried officials and employees of the city government.
The increase is pursuant to Local Budget Circular No. 113-2017 by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) as stipulated under Executive Order No. 201 dated February 19, 2016, said the city mayor.
